Phantoms RL are a new Rugby League team based in West Ham, only three stops away from Canary Wharf on the Jubilee Line, seven stops from the City on the District Line and minutes from Fenchurch Street on the c2c. Initially looking to play in the London League, Phantoms RL are the sister club of Phantoms RFC, a Rugby Union club also based in West Ham. With the closest Rugby League clubs to the City or East London being based in Kidbrooke and Hainault, Phantoms RL are ideally located for any League enthusiasts based in Docklands or the City.
The club had been formed to offer a social outlet to the players of the Union side during the Summer months whilst also improving skills and maintaining fitness. However, the club are now also looking for new players to bolster the playing squad for the 2010 campaign. Whatever experience or standard you find yourself at, the club would be keen to welcome you along to the club where we can offer a level 2 coach - former London Skolar Mark Scoltock, full changing facilties, showers and bar.
