I really hope not, he's under contract until 2010. So any transfer would involve payment. Be a very poor step for our club though.

Well we have said we'll use the £200,000 from the Burgess transfer for new players. I hope we get him, but I think your fans will feel the same as we felt about losing Burgess.

To be fair, he's a natural replacement for Sam.

I said in '07 that him and Sam would be starting props for GB in years to come. Him replacing him would not surprise me, but you'd need to cough up.

Not sure LMS has progressed as much under BMcD as I thought he would. Maybe he needs a change.

LMS is a future captain at TW2 and a talisman like figure for Pro London RL. Instead of flogging him off, we should be using him as an example to the youngsters coming through.

If we did that and many others clubs also, how many players would we be left with!!!!

It's a valid point though, some players blossom under certain coaches and some go backwards or stay static, it would be hard to be aggrieved if Louie did decide at some point to want to move clubs to further both his own career and his financial opportunities, not to mention testing himself.

Being the top dog at Quins isn't realistically the be all and end all of a players ambitions, nor should it be.

I'd love him at Wigan after next season to replace Fielden.

LMS is probably Quins' best player and surely he's going to get fed up with being at such a poor club like ours and want to jump ship for more chance of playing for England/GB, to develop himself further and the money factor.

I doubt it'll happen over the winter but I can see LMS leaving once his contract is up.

If he does go then the feeling that some of us have that the club's either not going to apply for a SL franchise or doesn't think it will get one in 2012 will start to appear to have some substance

Or alternatively he is not rated or part of the future plans

As for Quins best player you must be joking-Since he broke his writs his performances has gone backwards

And who is/was better then him? Very few players were worthy of new contracts this year

At the end of the day if LMS was to leave who could blame him?

I'm sure he loves the Quins club and is grateful of what they have done for him but with an RL career being a short one I'm sure he wants to be playing in the later rounds of the cup and playoffs plus those tasty derby games.

Purdham was injured all the time and Randall wasn't much use with his injuries...

Technically Karl Temata was our best player and Ben Bolger was the best player in the reserves.
