quite like this seasons replica shirt and have noticed that it's been reduced on the club site. Currently a poor student however, so still not affordable, was wondering if anyone knows a place I could pick one of them up on the cheap? Or is the shirt will be further reduced on the club shop when next seasons kit is unveiled? tah

I would have thought that the club shop will go as low as £30/£25 for this years shirt once the new one is released. That said, Sports Direct/JD sports do stock them and they can be picked up cheap...as windy one has pointed out!
Also, just so you know, I picked up Jamie O'Callaghans away jersey from 2008 for £10 at the club festival day last year.......a players quality jersey (£150 each I believe)......so maybe hold fire, check the club website for unsponsored players this year and maybe pick up a bargain on the day!!!!

Seriously? The home shirt? Im just praying next years effort doesnt look so laughably riduculous on the average rl fan's physique.

Why does there have to be a new shirt EVERY year, in fact worse than that, TWO new shirts every year.

Ok people do not have to buy them but did the FA not bring in a rule banning the introduction of 2 new shirts each year and now a shirt has to last 2 seasons.

After all RL shirts are 25% more expensive the football shirts as well

change the home shirt one year and the away one the next. simple.
changing it every year devalues it and means fewer people buy them

How can you keep a Kooga shirt when the sponsor/kit maker changed to Puma.

How long are St Mary's the sponsor? That may change. Did someone say the badge had changed??

Then of course under those circumstances its a difficult one.

Take the first 3 years as Quins though, the change to the shirt was so subtle you could hardly notice, a slight change to the green on the arms and a different coloured Workplace Management badge, the third years saw a move from a black to a white collar. I guess its those sort of changes that I was more getting at

As for the St Marys sponsorship, its not on the replica shirt anyway

If I remember a 4 year deal was signed with Puma, surely this is not a licence to manufacture 8 new shirts over this time. Let each one last 2 years which means just one new shirt each year

I like this season's shirt! It has a certain 'shine' to it. It also looks alot more like an RL shirt, which I'm lead to believe was the intention. The last one didn't really differentiate itself from the RU shirt that much.

Dunno about that FA thing, I think umbro have brought out new shirts every year for the clubs they supply, deffo in the case of West Ham who've had a new home AND away for the last 3 seasons.

Don't see why the RL shirt has to change every season, unless like last we changed suppliers. Unless its in the contract to do so every year.

Not going as far as saying i liked the 2009 shirt, but for me it was the first one to show a marked difference from the RU lookalikes we'd been playing in since 2006, therefore not a bad thing as far as I'm concerned.

This year you might pick up a cheap "Nanyn" or a "Grayshon" in mint unused condition! (You might need to be on the large side though.)
