So tell me - why hasn't Quins published the crowd figures for the Cas match? Could it be that probably more people went to view the rubber duck race at Hampton Court Palace than went to the Stoop?

I don't know what kind of eyes you have, but seeing how the north stand was open and its not always open, it can't really be the worst crowd of the season.

Doesn't surprise me that figure. The gate didn't seem too bad (relative to other games). Salford for example was far worse.

How many will be back is another question entirely…

Todays crowd was not bad and the Cas fans were vocal. Good for them coming down and supporting their team though nowt like 500. There was the odd tit with them which was no surprise but doesn't detract from the majority.

As the on pitch activity was a tad depressing, I took to counting the Cas contingent. There were 375-400in the North Stand and very vocal they were too. Then, a quick glance across the East from the AB section revealed about a 3/4 full stand.
If the East holds 4,250, then that would be 3,600 odd all in, so I would think once you add the 150 or so in the corporate boxes, the figure published was pretty much spot on.

Given your clubs illustrious history, 1896 (or if you want to be pedantic 1926) then I would worry about your massive home support, built up over the generations, your ground and generally the state of your SL licence which you have been recently warned about. You could always merge with your higher placed neighbours in Wakefield or maybe you fancy your chances of applying again in 2 years with no stadium?
4,000 more fans on average than Harlequins is a disgrace for a heartland club with such a history......we would only have to add 57 fans a year over your 70 year head start to beat that level........
Still, I applaud those that made the effort to come down on Sunday and wish you well in the play-offs.

I think there were more than 400 cas fans there yesterday, just my opinion.

Embarrassing following from Cas once again, no idea why we bothered opening the North Stand tbh.

As I have said, good turnout from a very vocal cas support. Just the usual "why do my knuckles bleed?....oh look, they're dragging on the floor" post from the "we've got a few numpties" brigade


I would suggest that anyone with under 250 posts should only be allowed to post on their elected teams boards or the sinbin......it would make the summer hols easier to deal with
