? I disagree. Losing players from your academy to other SL teams is not something to cheer.
Also. there are those who watched him in the academy and where proud/excited to see him progress through the ranks - you only need to look at football and look at how Everton fans Idolised Rooney or Arsenal with Jack Wilshire. |

Its more than possible.
My question now is, is it really worth us sending out some of these lads on loan to Hull or Leeds or wherever if they're going to sign for them at the end of it? Surely now we have the reserves and the academy playing with the other SL sides there's a much clearer, distinct pathway to develop home grown players. Sending these lads out doesn't make sense any more. |
