| As a prelude to the Quins - Cas game the RLC Regional Playoff semi final between Northampton Casuals & Devon Sharks will take place.
The winners will play Jarrow Viking in the regional finals on Sept 13 at Derby RFC.

Yep. the old coach and some of the players left and a new coach with RL connections was appointed bringing some fresh talent.
If Northampton could find themselves a "sugar daddy" they could be playing National League within 3-5 years and maybe superleague in 10.

| Thats good- The Midlands has got to be seen as a future target for the RFL-I thought at one point Coventry may become that team.

| Yes the coach from the first two seasons stepped down to concentrate on the Under 16's team. I appointed Joe Smith and Gary Campbell as first team coaches and they attracted alot of new players.
Plans for the club are hopefully and Under 18's team in the NYL in 2011, NL3 in 5 years time and to make the club stronger. Clubs can be very up and down eg Derby struggled last year but this year ended up in the semis, Leicester had a horrendous time last year but were unlucky not to make the play offs.
As for turning pro - well I can dream. We need to continually improve each year but saying that I have a plot of land earmarked and yes we need a sugar daddy.
On a personal note to take Northampton to play at the Stoop is a real boost to me. Having watched London RL play at Barnet Copthall, Crystal Palace, Charlton, The Stoop take 1, Brentford and back to the Stoop its quite a feat.

| I also was at the Greenwich game which was our first in the RLC East in 2008 and I think we have come a long way since then.

Wasn't there a Northampton club that played for a couple of seasons 10 or 15 years ago in what is now the National Conference League (wintertime amateur league)? May also have played in the professional reserve (or whatever it was then called) league?
If I'm right, was that club connected to the present one?

Yeah, very comprehensive answer. And I was spot on with the 15 years. didn't realise that it ended in tears though.
BTW, who is "I"? Probably answered somewhere on the website, I guess.

| Taking over 100 people to the Stoop for the semi final - might even double the attendance.
Thanks for the compliments, the club is certainly coming together.
