Looking at the depletion of the Saints squad on Saturday (even worse than ours!). Could we possibly see a home victory? We, in the guise of the Broncos, have only beat Saints once at home in the modern era. Curiously, in the 1930s St Helens never managed to beat London Highfield, Streatham & Mitcham or Acton & Willesden in the capital of the Empire!

Having said that, Saints should have won last week and will be hurting, we may be hurting for other reasons. Wakey stated they wanted it and believed they could win at KR, if we want it we can win it and kick start the play-off charge.

Saints won't be as hard hit as one of their posters on here wrote, their two mumps-men should be OK (but weakened maybe?).

And we have the disadvantage of a shorter turnaround time and of getting over the effects of playing in that heat in Perpignan. (No doubt to be identified by one of our regulars as an excuse, but actually quite a factor IMO.)
