You're quoting me out of context. Why didn't you include my comment that perhaps we were continuing to train too hard once the season was in full swing?
This injury happened in pre-season, and past evidence suggests that our pre-season programme has worked well and given us a good foundation on which to build, even if ultimately we've failed to capitalise on it. Slipping over and landing heavily (as described by Rob in the linked Sporting Life article) is something that could happen anywhere, especially in a match, or even in the street in the recent weather conditions we've had. Yet apparently this accident was Mac's fault!
