It's probably a fair reward for fairly consistent form for the last 4 years or so. No one really stands out hugely and I was struggling to come up with a shortlist.

I suspect it reflects the [iworkman[/i like philosophy that B Mac has introduced to the team.

We have seen Mclinden, Hill, H Paul, Tommy L , Hoppo leave in the last couple of years and replaced them with 2 steady Aus 2nd rows, Golden, Howell, Dorn etc

As an after thought do we have the slowest team in the league!

I disagree, regardless of whether we wish we had more flair players, and more players with strike power, what Karl Temata does for us is incredibly important and worthy of merit.

It is important but its not critical to the side. I don't think he's a bad player by any means but I would sooner have given it to Howell, or nobody, ideally.
