The new coach wanted him yes but it meant having to go through courts and legal stuff to keep him, it would also have cost us money too.

Would have been nice if we could have found a way to keep him but the deal was done under the old regime. I'm sure Rick did all he could to keep him but he's gone now, end of story.

Where is the official Giants confirmation?on July 5th the Yorkshire post ran a story contradicting that. Since then nothing official

Nothing official......Apart from the RFL statement confirming they had registered him as a Hull FC player for 2017....

I did. How many people need to announce it for it to be official. I would imagine the Giants are pretty embarrassed about the whole affair (or should be!) so why would they draw more attention to bad (old) news? That ship sailed a long time ago- they have more pressing matters.

It just highlights what an utter shambles the operational side of the club is! Why Ken Davy can't see it baffles me I can think of at least another 10 examples. I feel for Rick Stone he has no chance in the current set up he must wonder what he walked into.

I have been following for 35 years I am highlighting the dire communication from the club and the fact that a top young talent will no doubt walk away for nothing. Who takes the rap for that? Take a look at HTAFC and tell me in what area is the Giants performing as a business ? How and where ( not including salary details which should be private) do you get transparency and communication at the club. The Connor issue is a disaster however you dress it up and they are wanting to airbrush it.

Communication is dire I agree. However, I believe Stone is getting his way at the club look at the players who have left. It all seems positive regarding the players who are leaving. Lets hope he can get some decent names in.

Where is the official confirmation from Leeds that Zak has left, or from Wigan that smith has left for saints-
It's usual for the team who's made the signing to make the announcement not the team that are leaving....

Constructive criticism should be encouraged, but I am baffled by the suggestion to "Take a look at HTAFC", in my view a comparison as they are from the same town but to cite them as an exemplar I find very odd:

How much money has Deano blown? Losses of £4m a season?
How many Managers has Deano been through?
What have Town actually achieved? A good, actually very good start to the season, that is all.
Giants are a lot closer to the top of RL than Town are in Football. If Leeds, Saints and Wigan equate to the Man U, Arsenal and Chelsea of RL the Giants equate to someone like West Ham (just for fun - Wire are Spurs with it always this year, Hull are Everton big club with great tradition that are somehow always just short, KR are Villa enough said and Wakey are West Brom always tipped to go down but never do)

All joking aside, I believe there is lots that the Giants can do better, but to compare them unfavourable to Town regarding Business management is one of the daftest things I have heard.
