Wouldnt be surprised to see scotland put a good fight up in this. Scotland ht Oz ft is 28/1 might have a bit of that with Meninga saying he is playing the players who didnt play against New Zealand

I know the 4 nations is being held in England but I don't understand why the RFL didn't play one of the Scotland games in Scotland possibly at Hearts or Hibs and try and get the Scottish public on board. Edinburgh is easy (and cheap) to get to by train and other transport links from the whole of Northern England and not too far from the North East or Cumbria and there's always some Aussies or Kiwi's up here. An own goal from the RFL if you ask me. Good luck to the Scots tonight especially Brough and Brierley hopefully showing us the future half back partnership blossoming on the international stage.

I must admit I didn't see the game but looked at a couple of reports. One I saw "rated" each player. Brough got 8/10, brierley 7/10 Ferguson 5/10..... doesn't appear the journo agreed with you code13.

I'd say Brierley 3/10,Brough 4/10,Ferguson 5/10.

aussies real class in the first 20mins everything came off for them and no mistakes whereas scotland did do mistakes (brough first one led to try) and they paid the price.

credit to scotland though they hung in there and grabbed a try at the end of first half through a brough kick and brierley touched down if what forunate from the kick as it took a diflection

scotland for parts in the second half were the better team

aussies look oncourse to make the final and the faves

Brierley at international level needs to find a way of not just being a defensive turnstile.

Tough on Ferguson when the opposition centre on your edge is physically bigger than you,never mind the back rower.

Broughy couple of uncharacteristic errors,but made the intercept and set the 1st half try up.
