Massive game for us. Todd Carney however good he has been in the past is the least of our worries. There massive, aggressive pack will be the challenge we have to face. We have to match them. Mullally being apart of that is important.

Ferres and Wardle to keep there positions at loose and second row.

Robbo isnt impressing me this season at all but I still think he's a valuable member of our team. So I wouldn't mind him getting a run against them from the bench.
As long as Leeming gets his shot at playing on the big stage, I'll be happy.

I'm never so much confident for any game but I think we'll win. Catalans away form stinks and if Carney is playing I think Brough will thrive off it.

I watched the highlights on Sunday: Carney is most definitely NOT the least of our worries. The guy is awesome. The pace and distance he gets on his passes.... His kicking game... Wow!

Carney has made only one trip into the UK this season. Maybe he won't make it over?

not to mention zeb taia out wide, hes a big danger, they have some really good players... lets hope they have another away day nightmare, not sure what their record is at magic weekend, been playing london alot so prob a good one

Catalan don't normally take any prisoners, we need Ferris and Wardle where the action is.

Forwards aside their halves are a match for anyone, We have to have someone pressuring SD when he is kicking, TC as well . If we can match their fire in the pack we have every chance

I know Catalans are a great side but can't play away from home. They sit in 6th. The big stage doesn't always agree with us but are winning away. We sit in 4th. They must have us underdogs.

No they just see that Catalan convincingly beat Wigan and stopped thinking after that.

the bookies cant call this game either, some have catalans as faves... maybe the neutral ground will help them.. you only have to look at the players they have to know they can beat anyone... but so can we, good game.

not sure im a fan of this magic weekend anymore really, the giants just seem to be a bit part to the whole thing, playing our 7th different team in 9 years too

its ok if your in a derby like the hull teams but for us its just another game and can we really get excited about playing catalans?! think the ticket sales that we have sold will prob prove that we cant.

yeh its a day out but we miss the best day on the saturday (unless you go for the weekend) and the stadium will be empty.

the games should also be where you finished on the table the previous season too i feel, its fairer that way, but then the RFL would struggle to sell tickets as they may not get the hull derby!

Well they beat us at home last season in the play offs. Plus Newcastle is away for us so there will be less pressure on them and the ref if it was at Huddersfield.

It all depends on which Huddersfield turn up to play

Taking this season into consideration then the minute that they have to get on that big shiny white airplane they get beat...Unless they play Wakey

Bookies have us best price 5/4 them 11/10 so they see it as a real toss of a coin game, how much last week or even last season is factored into those prices is open to debate but if I remember right we were 4/9 or so to beat them back in April and even on a neutral ground if I was doing the book I'd have us well odds on.

One factor to be wary of is the early start time which players are not used to and the side that clicks into gear first might take a fair bit of pegging back.

think the 11/10 on us is worth chancing. some real 50/50 games this weekend apart from the castleford/wakey one

If Scott Dureau, Todd Carney, John Zebolon Ta'ia, and Morgan Escare are all fit and all play then Huddersfield will have a tough match. Also Catalans now have a monster young (18 year old) blockbuster winger named Mouad Yaha, who is a tall Justin Carney on steroids.

Looking forward to this so much now! Battles all over the park! We need to match up to the forwards, pressurise the halves giving them no space and time, watch the backs as they have pace and power! Our lads can do it I am sure but will be a massive challenge!

Our game is tough to call .Our back division is incomparably better than it was and we have fewer players who are hopeless under the high ball,but Escare remains a defensive ,though most certainly not an offensive liability.What gave me grounds for hope from the wigan match was that Carney and Dureau are not merely an outstanding half back combination ,which hits England for the first time tomorrow,but also inspire the other players to lift their game.However you are a team against whom we have always struggled to defend.

If I was Anderson I would personally bring Lawrence back in, with Catalans big, aggressive, athletic pack I think we need someone in the middle of the park to shut them out for 80 minutes
