overall view: great start, but then we seemed to stop playing and they got back into it on the back of mistakes and silly play, at 18-0 we should have just turned the screw and turned them around time after time and drain any confidence that they had left, instead we tried to score every time and ended up hanging on T 18-14, luckily we had enough to see us through in the end.

That was against Doncaster I think in the Buddies Cup semi final and remains the quickest ever RL hat trick.

Thormans is a world record but was in a buddy's cup game against Doncaster in 2002. Grix has now got record for quickest super league hatrick

I really enjoyed that season we had back in the national league after all the hammerings in super league.

Thormans HT was in 6 mins but not the first 6 mins. It was something like 12-18mins in terms of the game.

Grix's is the fastest in terms of from the kick off.

Wow just looked at the stats for the game. Michael Lawrence made 51 tackles with zero misses. Next highest tackler was Taai with 27. To make 24 tackles more than anyone else is incredible and I really think he needs to get the credit he deserves.

He won't from many as he's not a show pony! I also think his go forward has improved- he seems to be running less upright. Ones thing for sure - We are a poorer side without him in it.

When he and Eorl were at HGSA's last meeting, I told him to tell Baloo that he had to start the game in irder to tighten up the middle before it was too late. Looks like Baloo listened to him!!!

Fantastic result against the Wildcats. They really stuck in there for awhile. With home advantage it could of turned sour.
Confidence seems to be settling in now which is great for our trip to Warrington and the Easter period.

Connor is going to have to do something special to get that fullback spot back anytime soon.

Lawrence's attack is a lot more noticeable this season and his defence isn't suffering for it. He's another taking his chance!

Ellis is fitting in nicely. We seem to be having two dangerous sides to run at now. Leroy and Jerry seem to be enjoying there rugby at the moment.

I hope our form continues next week and beyond.

Yes Lawrence so solid in defence, why on earth we have decided to start him on the bench on a few occasions already baffles me

Grix in cracking form, wont be getting dropped anytime soon playing like he is, backing up of players is brilliant, wish a few others would follow taai and huby to get the offloads too

The season in general he's been very handy.

He has indeed been handy at times- but he hasn't played a full decent 80 minutes since the halifax friendly. some shocking unforced errors. I also don't think we are utilising his kicking game as much as we could be.

we had 3 more but macgillvary won about that many on his return in the second half also wakey were just giving pens for fun in the last 10mins! otherwise we would have been on the wrong end again
