| He'll give us some additional beef and experience, no doubt about it. A good signing, especialy if we got him at the right price.

| Just the sort of signing I was hoping for, sure Greg Brown will get him fit. Eorl, Koppy, Larne and AK look like a very good prop rotation. Pleased with this.

| London fans said that he was lazy.
Hopefully if we can improve his fitness and with some Baloo type man management he will be very good.
He is big and can be aggressive.
A good signing imho

The player I was talking to last weekend said that with a full off-season under his belt it would probably be Ukuma as the 4th prop, with Larne doing his damage running at Second Row.
Eorl, Koppy, Kaufusi and Taai as Props.

| As I've already said he has always struck me as a bit of a one big hit wonder- but then many questioned the signing of ferres as Cas fans were saying he was lazy in defence- and look how he's turned out!
Taai and kafusi with a full pre season could be a scary prospect from the bench....

This makes sense and I think Larne himself would prefer dropping a bit of meat and the subsequent gain in pace he'd get from that. It would help him with his tackle busts/line breaks.
We'd have to split Eorl & Koppy up IMO and pair with Tai & Kaufusi.

I agree think that line up at prop could be known as our awesome foursome, not only have we got Baloo but Fielden helping out in the forward's section, some experience there.
Agree that Larne will be better stripped down a bit and doing some devastating second row running, as the big 4 damage the opponents.

| I've been hoping for a while now that the Bulls would try and sign this guy (there were some rumours earlier in the season). He should make for a really good impact prop imo.
Some Broncos fans may say he was lazy, but towards the back end of the season he was playing the full 80 minutes for them, so his fitness levels can't be that bad.
A good signing for you guys. Jealous!

| If you're not sure what it is then it can be no surpise if it passes by without being noticed, surely.
Bulls fans can't be too downhearted at missing out on Kaufusi. They've gotten Carvell and he's not a bad prop by any stretch and will have a couple of years left yet, even at 32.

| There was a lot of excitement when he signed for us. He's played international footy and in NRL Grand Finals.
We offered him a three year contract, were probably the only team to do so and that allegedly played a big part in him signing for us over other offers on the table.
Needless to say, in two seasons he has been incredibly disappointing. I can think of maybe four or five games where he made a stand-out contribution. The rest of the time he was totally soporific in his performances. His fitness levels in 2012 were appalling, although he got better in 2013 and as mentioned did play longer stints.
I'm surprised to say the least to see a club of Huddersfield's standing take a punt on him; You may well get much more out of him than we did. But he was, by and large, utterly useless for us, so I am not mourning his departure.
But then, 'my club' currently consists of two blokes and a photocopier, so who am I to judge?

| The problem with Kaufusi is between his ears. As Penguin mentions he came to the Broncos with a great CV. First few appearances he came out all guns blazing but his performances soon tailed off. His fitness levels and the amount of effort he was prepared to put in week-on-week were dire and we would be lucky to get 10-15 minutes per half out of him (much of which were spent slowly walking back to help out in defence or with his hands on his knees taking a rest). He quickly went from fans favourite to villain and being booed from the terraces.
His performances and time on the pitch picked up dramatically towards the end of the season when our club problems became clear and he was awarded captaincy on the pitch……..your guess is as good as mine as to whether this was in response to the extra responsibility or the realisation that he needed to put himself in the shop window for a new SL contract.
He was a huge disappointment for the Broncos. I hope you can get the best out of him, but it will require a complete change of mind set from him and sustained effort by your management team to make it happen.

| Thanks guys this gives us some good insight on the fans view of him, looks like he's going to need to get his ass in gear, which I think Baloo is capable of getting out of him.
I don't expect a 80 mins prop, what I do expect is 2x20 mins of devastating hard running to complement what we have.

Him and Fielden. And if they can't, I doubt anyone can.

| It's not like he has never had the work ethic- you don't have a cv like his by resting on your laurels. Being beaten every week is devastating for morale- we should know as we've been there for years!
Whether he can rekindle that fire in his performance remains to be seen but if he can't do it for fielden and baloo at the league leaders then he may as well hang up his boots.

Quality signing IMO.
Some of the London fans seem to think he's lazy and unmotivated, but I think a lot of that is down to situation and management. In a more professional environment he has the potential to thrive. You don't get an Australian Test cap and play for Queensland unless you have serious talent.
I think it's a clear step in the right direction for the squad. We're still suffering from Nathan Brown's theory on using a light and mobile pack. With two more props in this year's squad I believe it would be us at OT, not Wire.
PS - I'm back!

| Welcome back Steve! I remember you leaving; the place has been worse for it IMO. I'm not as frequent as I used to be either. Had a splurge recently but will no doubt dissolve back into the ether soon enough for a while at least!

| Really happy with this signing.
Brings experience and a good pedigree, having played at the very top level in the NRL.
what i was also surprised to see is that is still only 28!! great... played 49 times for london in two seasons so its not like he is injury prone either.
sometimes when i have seen him play i feel he lacks for fitness but we all know under the Giants fitness regime this will improve.
welcome kaufusi!!!
like the look of our forwards for next year...
crabtree
kopczak
kaufusi
patrick
taai
ferres
with this we should NOT be losing the ruck, which we did in the two play off defeats.
kaufusi and patrick can carry on the good work of crabtree and kopczak...which is an area we struggled recently.
with mulllally and johnson also to learn off these...
