| Grix 7 missed tackles... very poor, but his defence is a weak link.... cost us for the tries in the corner, not wrapping goulding up for the offloads to charnley...and getting shrugged off too easily
lawrence also struggled with hock..but alot of players will struggle with him
on the plus side faalogo did a great job on his return...shows his class

Not statistically he didn't, no errors, penalties or missed tackles. Hock got some good yards and quick ptbs but he is a heck of a player going forward. I thought Lawrence coped pretty well. Brown, Grix and George had 15 missed tackles between them on the other side, who was missing there? Ah - Joe Wardle and Michael Lawrence
The stas appear to back up the view that three changes for one played merry hell with our LHS defence.
The other thing that the stats seem to show is that Eorl got nearly twice the yards of any other forward, we could use another Eorl, or at least another true prop like say....... Keith Mason!

| When you look at the Wigan stats published in one of the Monday rugby papers nearly all their forwards made well over 100 meters but our tackle success rate was higher than Wigan's but only because we had to make 50 more All but 1 of Wigan's tries came within a minute of us conceding a penalty or drop out

'" Didn't think Bruno had a bad game, and Hock was not as effective has he was against other teams, particularly Saints the week before.
Grix had an indifferent game, poor in defence yet creative making thinks happen in the breakdown, the double slipped tackles and offload to Fa'alogo comes to mind which split their defence, and almost lead to Eden getting away.

| The stats make interesting reading. The forwards other than Crabtree who again was outstanding struggled to make any yardage. However in defence they were brilliant. Gilmour,Faalogo,Ferguson,Robinson,Lawrence,Patrick and Chan (who defended as a forward moving inside) made over 200 tackles between them and missed only 5.
Robinson in particular desreves credit to make 42 tackles (in approx 60 mins). He was targetted time after time by Wigan but stood up to everything. The only issue is this does take some of his attacking threat away.
As for the left hand defence the missed tackles are shocking and totally unacceptable at this level.
Eden and the two wingers made good yardage but you have to expect more from someone like Cudjoe.
I also don't think Moore was as bad as people are making out. It seems some on here dont like him so are going to criticise him whatever he does. He looked far fitter than he did in the Swinton game and while not been spectacular did little wrong.

| Not sure of the stats they bust us for fun on the edges, if the 3/4s didnt miss many it must of been the backrowers or broughy & brown that did?
Faalongo didnt look fit always ways struggled to get back to marker or point.

| The people who missed the tackled were Grix Brown and George.
I must have watched a different game as Falaogo was excellent in defence and in no way looked unfit.

I thought Fa'alogo looked brilliant!! Pace and strength looked back to his best, I'll make the most of the Salford game before he gets injured.

| As above thought fiaalogo really stood out. Some of his tackling looked fearsome. Hope the injury free fairy can look after his hamstring for the remainder of the season. Ironically in the nrl he had an excellent injury free-iSh record.
