Just wanted to say well done to the huddersfield club for fielding only 3 overseas players (from what i could see) in the team against willie mason... Erm i mean hull kr. Sorry about that i forgot they had another 16 players in their team. Anyway i was happy to see so much british talent in a top english team

At the time he drank and smoked so much that even by his own admission he could not train or play properly. So we let him go and a Kear sorted that out and Brown has tacken him to the next level with his performences since he came to the Giants. Amazing what good coaches can do.

the franchises were set up to help clubs nurture young talent,some clubs try and use english players i.e hudds and wigan some teams still prefer the foreign approach as in hkr ..its their choice and as long as they dont breach the rules we should not complain

must admit it does please me when i see all the talented british guys in our squad and you can see by their faces after games like last night that they are obviusly very happy here too.

the fans always prefer a local lad and will forgive him more than a bought player.. paul reilly was great for us but towards the end he was getting past it but the fans forgave him, hodgy has a few drops/ bad outings and he is seen as a nightmare by some of the fans
