3 years to Salford.
Has been a great servant to the club and was an integral part of the clubs development over the last few years. A 100% committed player who has dealt with lots of injuries etc but always worked hard to come back.
A really dedicated and hard working player.
However it was the right time for him to leave. He will not get in ahead of the likes of Fa alogo, O'Donnell, Larne or Kirmond.
I wish him all the best for the future.

When he & Aspy came it was a real signal that we intended to go places.
A tackling machine. He'll be sorely missed.

Superb player that was always the unsung workhorse, pace, power, good hands and good agility and a core part of our rise up the table.
His try to win the semi for us last season covered everything good about him, 70 minutes of play, 30+ tackles and he is still the first one to win the race to the ball.

| Very sad to see him go, he's a tremendous player, played a great very big part and in us getting to 2 cup finals and is a major reason for us being a top 6 side, will be sorely missed but players come and go and i think he's done the best thing for himself by moving on as I don't think he'd be guaranteed 1st team action here next season.

| i think this shows us how far we have come when we signed wild n aspy they was big signings for us now they have been forced out due to us getting bigger n better signings. wish wild all the best been a brilliant player for us wont forget his try last season in the semi final when brett kicked n he finished to properly confirm we was off wembley  |

To All, Stephen Wild's best years are now behind him. This lad has been around for a long time and put his body on the line, week in week out. He's got to the stage where he's been unable to train in between games and his body can only just about manage game day. All the best to him and well done to his agent on getting him a new deal

Still my favourite player at the Giants and am sorry to see him go, but the time is right for both parties. Salford aren't messing about, they are recruiting good pros for the new season and Wild will be the best of the bunch if his knees can keep up. Wish him all the very best and fully expect the fans to give him a warm reception when he returns with the Reds next year.

Not too bothered about this, he has been very good for us and I respect him for staying with us instead of going to Saints but he always seems unfit when he plays.

His defensive effort today was immense, he does alot of the unseen stuff and even when not fully fit gives his all. A true pro and vastly underrated during his peak with the Giants IMO. He is not the same player of two or three years ago, but still has alot to offer and would have been a quality addition to better sides than Salford but they remind me of us 4-5 years ago and hopefully the only way is up for them.
