Have heard he may be on his way out of the Giants, anyone heard anything? After he got injured again this season I always thought he may have a job earning another contract especially given we are far from short in the second row and Faiumu is doing fine at LF.

Will be sad to see him go though, has been an outstanding player over the years, arguably our most consistent performer from 2006-2009.

As much as a i like Wild his injury problems make me feel that it is a good decision to let him go. I hope he can make me eat my words if he goes to another club as a i have a lot and mean a lot of respect for him but injuries seem to be catching up with him.

He's my all time top Giants player...ahead of Brett for me. The consistency he has shown, the desire, the work ethic, very professional, always gives 110%. Hull may just have pulled off a huge coup.

Saints were very interested in him a couple of years back.......

What are his injuries exactly? There's certain injuries you don't truly get over.

His knees are shot. Had operations on both in the close season to clean them out. has played twice this season for us i think.

I agree, he has always given 100 percent for us and has been an integral part of what we've achieved the last 4 years but i think injuries have now taken their toll on him, if he does leave, i dont think anyone will not wish him Well and would always recieve a great reception if he came back with another team

wild is a class player.... would be sad to see him leave but needed another good season for a new contract and has hardly played due to his injuries. (dodgy knees)

when fit he his a tackling machine and very solid..

should be back playing for us in a few weeks... we have ample 2nd rowers though at the club now so the rumours he could be going no surprise

kinda reminds me of Nigel wossisname (payed for us, wigan and wakey). Brilliant, brilliant player, but so injury prone.

Meast hit the nail on the head for me, for his time with us, when fit he would be name one on the team sheet, even before the likes of Brett. Perhaps the most underrated player of all time imo.

I agree Wild has been an immense player for us, but he is nursing injuries far too often these days. Must take up a sizeable chunk of the salary cap too.

Until this season he has done great though performance wise.

Fair enough he spent 5mins of every game holding a knee but he played.

dont get me wrong, when he plays he is great, even the 5 minute knee holding sessions.

but if his contract is up this time, and he has offers elsewhere...then its time to wish him well I think. But he will still be most welcomed as a great player by me if he stays or on his return visits.
