Come on fellow Giants fans its about time we started singing some new songs, and one's that dont just follow the same pattern like most of our songs.
Does anyone know which song the players were singing in the changing rooms after the match was? If its a giants song how come we are not singing it.
Come on lets start to make a better atmosphere.

Cos the boring gits dont sing the songs we do have ............and a certain group of fans only know 2 tunes anyway

Well lets not sit back, and why dont we do something about it. If not it is going to stay like this for a long time, and im getting sick off it. We need to get behind the lads, and not get out sung by everyteam we play.

I've been trying for over 20 years to get songs and atmosphere going - if people dont want to join in we cant make them and i think the majority of our fans prefer to be 'spectators' rather than vocal fans

We never seem to generate an atmosphere at home, although a few of us do try!
Away games are always better for atmosphere, cas and warrington usually being the best.
I wish all the people who want to create an atmosphere in the lawrence batley (or whatever its called now) would move to the antich (...?) so we can all sit together!

We have about 4 songs in total:

The carnival de paris one that we sing when we score
Huddersfield Huddersfield Huddersfield Huddersfield (You know which one I mean)
and the worst of all...

its not the songs but the lack of those up for singing that's the problem

did anyone catch the one the players where singing? Is it the traditional victory song?

Neither me, my dad or mum had any idea what it was!

I do not think we will ever sing and i feel that the club is missing a trick here..

on my side of the Antich there is me and a couple of our group who sing.

To the right and behind me there is tansey and a couple of others . directly behind me there is 3 blokes and then some of the kids join in along with a few others.

However we are all separated and it is hard to get anything going.Tansey gives me a nod and we start something up.

I wrote to the club and mentioned setting up a singing section and they would not do it. Then posters come on here and say it is a rubbish idea.

Even if the 10 people who sing were put together that would make a real difference to our enjoyment and we could work together to get some atmosphere going and get everyone else behind the team. But no, because no one can be d and the club officials either frown on it or cannot get their s into gear to even do it.

With some will from the club i could arrange the whole bloody thing in 30 minutes i would get the ST nos of the singers , pass them to the club and hey bloody presto we could get seats together. It is not rocket science.

Whilst i tend to be supportive of the team and the club this is one issue that gets my goat because =#FF0000it would make a difference on the day and it would make it more of an entertaining atmosphere to keep the speccies coming back.
the club is missing a trick on this one but do not seem bothered about doing anything about it.

the Barmy Army one is crap i dont like it - everyone sings that and going back to the late 80's early 90's we used to sing Claretgold army.
as for the stupid 'bretty hodgson' chant..............well !! nuff said about that the better, but llike i said when they only know 2 tunes they have to fit every players name into it !!

I think it sounded like wild rover, but could be wrong the one that goes 'and it's no, nay, never, no, nay never no more' etc.....

I sit to the left of the 'singers' and i am totaly up for singing and to try and get everybody going. At away games we need to stand/sit together as we separate usually e.g. at Wakey, this is never going to work if we want a atmosphere. If anybody else is up for singing i certainly am. I will try and come up with some new songs over the next couple of games, and we can then spread them to other people. A better atmosphere might persuade more people to come and watch us.

You should certainly do it! The atmosphere at our away games has been superb this season because the 'singers' as people call them have all been standing together and every one joins in. Most home super league teams have a poor atmosphere though. Only Leeds, Cas, Hull KR and Catalans are any good IMO.

I wish something similar could be done at our place though!
