| Very impressed with Danny today. First touch was a high bomb kick which very much reminded me of Liam Fultons bombs and 2nd kick gave us a goal line drop out-very impressed.
Well done Danny and welcome aboard.

| Difficult conditions for a kicker, he over hit one straight to touch but other than that, he did well. He will prove to be a good addition come the business end of the season.

His first touch was a kick across field to our winger but was easily read by Gardner. Brough went ok but didn't add anything new today really IMO. Give him time though.

| Ok from a sensible Wildcats supporters viewpoint: Brough rarely gambles if his pack aren't getting field position, he tends to come alive around the half way point or in defence when opponents are pushing passes in the twenty. He shoots out of the line and doesn't miss many and the amount of interceptions is sensational. I can imagine in the wind today it was as open as it could have been. Impressive crowd though must be a huge bonus.

| From an opposition point of view I thought he was very average, however I do think he'll be a good signing for you when he gets into your game plan, this game was possibly a week early for him.

| When he went to halfback and took control of the game we had more pace and urgency about our moves I thought, but he had the same problem as Brown, Robbo, Lunt and Faiumu...no runners or movement off the ball.

To be fair I don't think there's many that are. He's a special player who should be representing our country at the end of the year.

Not many are - and that's while he's a relatively inexperienced lad. Brough is one of the top English SH's, but thats a reflection on the English product IMO. I reckon Briers, now he's been put on the straight and narrow by TS, will show Brough what he ought to aspire to, but although DB is a great instinctive player he'll never have the brains of someone like Brad Drew, and will NEVER be someone to build a team around. Thats not a criticism - and I'll always remember his time at Wakey as being a time of transition and exciting RL.
Good luck DB and Hudds.

| To be fair Brough was playing behind a beaten pack today and was given no time to play by Saints excellent rush defence. Having to attack the pTB from only 6 yards away helped.
Agree that Brown and Robbo will be difficult to sort out but it is clear to me that Robbo should now be interchange hooker and let Brough and Brown run the plays. either injuries told today or Nathan did not feel that Brough was ready with 3 days preparation to go straight in at SH.

| He didn't do a great deal but Saints' out-enthused us today. The ref was sh*te but didn't affect the result. I was most impressed by Brough's defense, chasing and tackling his own kicks. He seemed to be trying to integrate himself into the team with the pats on the back etc and I hope he keeps on acting like that. If Nathan Brown does go back to Sydney at the end of this season as is rumoured, who's going to keep him on the straight and narrow?

The 10 was the same for both sides, and it was nearer 10 than 6.

After two days with the club, playing behind a beaten pack and with Nathans Browns selections I.E.too many playmakers on at a time is that a surprise. ![Question icon_confused.gif:](//www.rlfans.com/images/smilies//icon_question.gif)

| I don't think you can read much into someone who has only been at the club for a few days and didn't make an appearence until the 24th minute. There were people who have been at the club for years and played from the start who were just as bad/indifferent.
