I like brown as a coach. Seems to be very honest in his interviews. He's done great job at giants and sooner or later win something for you lot.

I agree the ref made some really big mistakes. It is hard to take it, but the players can't let it get to them, today I think it did.

I'm not sure about his selection policy for this game though. I was surprised to see all five of Lunt, Robinson, Brough, Faiumu and Grix in the 17. I do think we can only have 4 of those in the side

We lacked punch up the middle, Kev Brown and Bret Hodgson were very poor today too.

You got away with it as much as Saints did, as well as not standing square. Both teams were guilty of it, but I wish the refs would pull teams up for it. The rule's there for a reason (and no, not be broken).

Poor Cunningham would have to stand 5 yards behind the ref though to make sure his belly was onside.

Douglas clark 485 appearances 99 tries played at hooker as well as other forward positions.

Played in the Rourkes drift test. Broke his thumb in the first half but carried on playing. Went off in the second half with a dislocated collar bone had it strapped up and then weny back on to play. Was gassed in the first world war and injured by a shell with 18 shrapnel injuries and got the Military Medal. Was discharged from the army with a body still full of shrapnel and carried on playing. after finishing RL he became a champion wrestler.
