After wondering why the Giants had pulled out of the joint scheme it would seem that they have had second thoughts. This one though seems so much better than the old one though.

It looks to be a really well thought out promotion, and should stimulate interest amongst young families.

I am pleased about that it looks as theough i will be really good for the kids. Now to get them to extend it to Durham schools.

Have i missed something Wishy ? Isn't this exactly the same deal as last time ?

For £10 the original scheme gave you
1x Giant Shirt
1x Town Shirt
4x Giants tickets
4x Town tickets
Presentation at a home game

Now, for £15 you get
1x Giant Shirt
4x Giants tickets
Presentation at a home game

For £10 you can get the Town deal as well.

Can't complain though i suppose, eldest lad got his shirt last year when he was seven and has just received another leaflet to claim another one, he'll be expecting a new home shirt every year at this rate

I thought you could only choose either the town shirt OR Giants shirt under the old system.

Nah you couldn't choose which you had you got both.

I can see your point Pieman, but I'm thinking that for £45 in 3 years your kid gets 3 shirts and 12 tickets and 3 presentations. It might not work out like that as they may say only one per child. But also if say last year your then 7 year old got both Town and Giants shirts he's still elegible this year for the Giants shirt this year whereas he'd not be able to get a Town shirt. I think this could be right as it's a different scheme, but again I've not read the terms and conditions for this new scheme.

I'm going to send the form off, might ask if he can have an away shirt instead

Rang the ticket office today on the number provided on the giants website.

The woman who answered had absolutely no idea what i was on about, she stuck me on hold for about 5 mins then finally came back.

Took details of my little lass, DOB ect, she then took the £15 straight away, said would send out tickets for Saints game even though birthday isn't till June?

Woman could not be d at all, have had this a few times in shop and ticket office, think the club need a quiet word to remind them who plays their wages, seems lobsided towards the footie team IMHO

I think I am right in saying that KSDL pay their wages not Giants or Town.

Aiiiiiiiiiii well they need a swift kick up the @rse TBH, I could understand em having a bad day as a one off but it's every sodding time you go in the shop or to the ticket office, just not good enough!!!!
