so, apart from that glorious day in 2003 and the Semi final trouncing in 2006 who has any other memories of us beating Leeds ?
Those are the only 2 i can remember in my time watching this club(22/23 years)........saying that though back then we could only dreama bout playing Leeds let alone beating them.......come on then some of our more 'mature' posters will have some memories to share ?

We still hold the 'glorious' accolade of having scored the most point in a SL game (46 was it?) and still losing.

it will be interesting to know how many teams have scored 46 at Headingley in winning let alone losing !!

I remember the merger season we beat them in a friendly at theirs and then went to Saints and beat them in their back yard as well in a friendly. Then spent most of that season getting pumped until Tony Smith turned up.

That was the try where the ref restarted the tackle count on the back of a charge down that wasn't actually a charge down. Fair play though, Hudds were excellent that game and deserved it.

It shouldn't have been ruled a charge down though, as it came off the Leeds' players back.

Not that it matters. Who knows, if Leeds had won that game TS might never have become Leeds coach.

Perhaps so, but if he wasn't attempting a charge down I'd like to know why Sinfield was jumping in front of Costin.
