How does that work, Andy Raleigh gets a call to see the old beak for an alleged late tackle on Matt Orford which was a great tackle to which he was committed but Heath L'Estrange is let off for his cowardly attack to Luke Robinson's head........ what a farce

Because RFL have to look like Ganson reffed the game fairly.

Andy has a excellent record for good behaviour and has no malice in him. I'm sure the RFL will sense!

Sending off sufficient, no further action is minimum. 1 match maximum. Should really get a warning letter NFA but as he's a Giants player he will get about 6 matches probably. I'm convinced we are the only team in RL history to have a player given a two match ban after being found not guilty of the offence he was sent off for.

what happened ?

Adrian Toole was sent off for a spear tackle but was found not guilty. He was given a two match ban for a dangerous tackle, an offence he hadn't been cited for.

Watched this over and over on TV. Andy does not look like he tackles him with his hands but more like a shoulder barge into lower body. Looks bad at full and slow speed.

I agree, I watched this last night and cant really see a ban for that ! (Which is unfortunate from our point of view for Friday but would hardly be fair !)

In can't recall L'Estrange's high shot, so I can't comment. I think, whilst Raleigh's looked bad at the time, it was simply late and not wreckless or intending to harm the opponent. A fine and warning possibly, but doesn't deserve a ban, not like its Terry Newton or Ryan Bailey is it
