Good Bad?

I was disappointed that we did not break the 10K barrier last night but to say it was a freezing Friday night game and on SKY I suppose we should be happy.

Plus only 1557 in the Bulls end last night so that makes around 8k Giants fans. Taking into account it was on SKY I was pretty happy with that.

I thought Bulls following was brilliant last night. Well done!

We do have a lot of families on a Sunday. I think on a sunday with no Sky it woud have been 12K+

Our end seemed really packed last night, again to say it has been a bad week weather wise and it was on sky.

The turnstyles have tickers on them so by knowing the numbers at the start and the end of the game you can work out how many came through them.

Then it's just knowing someone who is the know

and there are a couple of sources.

There was also a let less Bradford fans in the the BR stand - a few were there but not thousands - as Ponner said a great Giants turn out.

Also anyone notice that is was mainly the youngsters in the new shirts with the older lot in last years shirt?

I need to get down to the stadium to buy mine but I'm really not sure if I should by the Home or Away shirt I cannot decide.

not often i get called a youngster these days but thanks

i thought it was an ok attendance, i know of a few people who would usually go who couldn't make it due to it being friday night.
lets be honest though 5+ years ago we would have been over the moon with a crowd like that against Bradford with a fair few regulars missing

And my mum won't go to night games so chalk that up as another regular missing.

I know a couple of people who didnt go for various reasons, mainly freezing cold + Sky + Friday night.

There were a lot more expected. Our estimates were 11000 but that was with the Bulls saying they were expecting 2500 to 3000 in their bit which by the day was reduced to 1500 expected.!

My son didn't go due to his dad saying it was too late for him, funny how he was awake when I was picked up and was upset that he couldn't go! Anyway this would've been the general excuse for most not attending.

I did see a couple of wrinklies in them too. I guess that's be you and Birkby.
