Hodgson was superb set up two tries and defensively was solid. Only one mistake in taking so long to ground the ball when i tlooke dthere for the taking.

I'm afraid I can only agree with all that. Regardless of what I hoped, I expected a narrow Hudds win (and it terms of tries, indeed that's what it was) but you performed quite a bit better, even then, than I expected. Good times to be a Hudds supporter right now, I think?

Lunt was my man of the match.

I thought Andy Raleigh took over the Paul Jackson role perfectly. Did everything he was asked to do and never took a backward step.

Totally agree, he was my MOM for his tireless effort. He took some big hits but never took a backwards step. He's like a machine is our Andy.

hodgson man of match for me... two try assists and should of had a try himself.. just why didnt he dive on the ball in the corner instead of waiting an age!!

i think it was a close call between Brett and Lunt myself - Brett created the tries but Lunty ran his socks off and he WILL be one of the top hookers in Super League for years to come

May well become the best home-grown one, and extended international duty surely awaits?

Lunt isn't a home grown player though we signed him from workington , and i dont think anyone expected him to progress as much as he has done so quickly , but i would say if he keeps this progress up then he is definately one for an Englnad shirt in the future

As a bulls fan, I would have liked to come on here and said you were outclassed last night and it was hard to highlight a man of the match for you lot. HOWEVER, i am becoming more and more impressed with the quality of footy you lot play.

I think Lunt is an outstanding youngster who I would have loved to see Bulls bring in.

Raleigh looked solid down the middle, tireless worker.

But Brett Hodgeson clearly was the main last night.........even if he did mess up his try scoring opportunity!

Lunt laid the Fa'alogo try on a platter and scored one himself, was outstanding around the rucks.

I do think Lunt had a good game but it was what we exspected from him now he's the 1st choice 9, for me the M.O.M would have to be Kevin Brown, out with a injurie for a good part of last year and came into this game unphased, he was at the heart of everyting thought his link play was just stunning and his defence was terrier like.

1-Brett, Captain's knock, set up Leroy for 2 walk in tries, never seems out of position, after Ganson's decisions alot of captains would have flipped but not Mr cool, an inspirational leader of Giants.

The whole team played well and to defend for 20 mins with 1 man down they were fantastic, Leroy very unlucky not to be in my 3.

2- Brown Had a good solid game, expecting a big season from him and after his performance on
Friday it looks like I'm not going to be disappointed.
3- Lunt Looks like he's carried last seasons form into this season, surely a possible for the England
side, he just keeps getting better and better.
