The statement simply says that 6 players are helping police with their inquiries, that's how I read it anyway.

Just saw it flash up on Sky Sports news so don't think it is a rumour.

Hopefully for the good of the game there will be no foundation to the allegations.

The game as a whole can do without this bad press, but the sooner it's all sorted out the better for all concerned.

Whether it comes to anything or not, players shouldn't be putting themsleves in the situation where they can be accused of this type of thing

If it is being debated sensibly then I don't see why we can't carry on. It's on the other forums being discussed, it makes no sense to lock it on here given it's our club involved. Our players, our club. It seems kind of daft having it locked on here and not elsewhere.

You want them to lock themselves in their houses unless they are at training or games?

Hopefully for the sake of the club and the game there is nothing in it, either way its not good to have something like this hanging over the club at the start of a new season.

Last year at our works' annual day at the races one lad got goosed and ended up hoiking his guts up. He was given some harsh words afterwards and banned from future events.

These lads are off on a work event. When I go away with work I am expected to act in a professional manner and I feel sure that Ken Davy, Nathan Brown etc will have similar expectations in terms of professionalism. So we'll see what happens when the dust settles!

Well I posted a link for information purposes on the Leigh board without any comments other than 'Oh Dear' and it has been removed. So I suspect this may be removed shortly too.

Given that 1. There is very, very little to discuss at this point in time that wont earn the poster a sitewide ban and 2. I dont want to be checking every 5 mins. this is going to be locked now, there may be threads on other forums but they will go the same way before too long I suspect.
