if we had to choose one Hooker to go to saints next year i am glad it is not Lunt.

His development this season has been phenomenal. Yesterday he was superb. this lad will be the best Hooker in britain in two years.

I've also been saying that Moore isnt the best hooker at Huddersfield either.

Lunt has been consistant in every game he's played. Moore had a fantastic start to the season but as it's gone on I think he's had less impact in each game. TBH at this moment in time I think our best hookers at the club are Lunt and Faiumu.

i think Lunt has looked really good for you this year, wish we still had him cas.

Think moore has had a decent season but Lunt has impressed me more.

A friend of mine who was playing NRL two years ago for Newcastle Knights said after watching the Challenge Cup final that if he was to pick out one player to be a star it was Lunt.

i'd say one of the most standout performers of the last 6-10 games personally, he is looking excellent at the moment

If he continues to improve the way he is then he will be a real Superstar.

Totally agree on this, was talking to Mase before the announcements last night about Lunty and he agreed he'd had a great season. Nice touch from the presenter aswell who introduced him as " The guy who scored 2 tries at Wembley"!!

His progress this season has been amazing and he looks every part a class act and he is going to be a massive part of our success in the future.

Think we need to look a little closer at NL2 and Championship, Obst(who I rate highly) at Wakey came from one of the Cumbrian clubs too.

Leeds have signed a young second row from up there too, some very good young English talent around as Lunty has and I am sure McNally will prove.

Lunt for a place in the England squad?

I've not seen an English hooker in better form for the past couple of months for sure. He's a whole hearted player and a huge threat with ball in hand.

It's be a huge rise for the lad from NL2 to the international scene all within 12months but if he's good enough he deserves the place.

He has the form but I can't see that happening. Strangely I see Moore getting called up even though Lunt is ahead of him at the club!

Moore will get in imo which i agree is strange when we could pick a guy ahead of him who plays at the same club and is outplaying him in form terms.

TBH though Moores from as a whole over the course of the season has been good and he played well for England in the French test. His face is in and around the squad now so he'll probably get the call.

They both probably deserve a spot in a 22/23 man squad to be honest but they'll more then likely only pick 2 and use Burrow or McGuire as fill in's if needs be.

Lunts form must make Moore's return to St Helens all the easier to deal with for Huddersfield fans.

I think perhaps people are getting a bit excited by saying he is ready for an international call up. He has just had a great season but still has a lot to learn.
His still needs to work on his distribution and his kicking game. He is a natural athelte who has explosive pace but i feel he needs to cement his place in the Giants team before people start to look at further honours.

I agree with that, especially his kicking game, great player, great future but lots more to come before I think smith would give him a look in. Well done lunty!
