If we had taken any injuries in the derby JM stated he would have been playing tomorrow but now scheduled to be back against Quins on sunday.

Team hasn't played to badly without him TBF, but he is a class act waiting to return.

If Wild is fit, I'll suggest - though not necessarily want - Jacko & Lunt to miss out.

Lunt may go very well against a tired defence so i would definitely play him.

Good for us because he's a really good player IMO.

I would agree with that. Never thought I would be championing Lunt over Faiumu at the beggining of the season given he came from NL2 and Faiumu has played for New Zealand. Just shows doesn't it. Expensive overseas imports are not always the answer. Hope he improves but at the moment he is not good enough for the team IMHO

That's a serious dent in our impact imo (hopefully a serious dent in the number of knock ons too

). A very tough game to throw Esders into.

Clint Newton has commented that, Ryan Edsers is one of the stongest guys(upper body ) he had trained with, he has looked good when playing in the reserves,so hopefuly he can give a good account of himself if selected to play.

I think Faiumu looked class on Friday, one of the players that closely approached what he could do, certainly looeked far better than Moore

both have played well for the start of the season and i reckon we have enough ammo to cover for them in attack as for defence we will need to be as mobile as poss against HKR so the squad members who are running on full tanks should play

Nah, lots of show but no substance, needs to improve

Whilst his appearances have been a bit hit and miss since he joined us -due to selection process and his personal affairs -- I havent seen anything to put him at international level so far with us

Maybe he can now put recent events behind him and once settled into a routine - he might show us what he is really capable of producing

If he doesnt improve on recent showings though I have a feeling the other contenders will put him under severe pressure to make the squad

Moore is out of the squad now so lets hope he can turn his form around and do the business today for us. He will never have a better oppertunity. Come on Faiumu! lets see what you can do!

He did.

Fortunately he wasn't one of the very good players out there today - he was one of the outstanding ones.

He and Lunt aimed up today after we lost Fulton. When he went off I was worried, we didn't start well at all today.

We were great in the second half though.

I think Faiumu has been unlucky not to have a starting spot, but with Moore and Lunt being so good, it was up to him to aim up, looks like he did that today.

Great to have some real depth to our squad!
