Maybe it is just me but i wanted Wakey to win. I felt that they deserved it. Leeds sportsmanship, arrogance and constant backchatting to the ref really infuriated me and i was thinking, i hope you lose your arrogant gets.

My thoughts entirely, they should have had a man binned for all the slaver they were giving.

Ganson would have binned a player from any other team below Leeds in the table for that sort of backchat without a seconds thought.

Aye the 10-4 penalty count (10-1 at one stage) clearly shows him to be favouring the biggest rivals of his hometown team! Careful this small team mentality might develop into full-blown paranoia!

I don't think Ganson was favouring Leeds at all. At one point I said to the missus "The Leeds fans must be taking the mick out of Ganson over his antics last week". He seemed to be giving Wakey all the decisions. Although I do agree on the comment that if anybody other than the big 2 teams had been back chatting like Leeds were, they would definately have been sin-binned for it. On quite a few occasions last night, especially Brough, the player who had been tackled was holding the tackler down in order to try and gain a penalty and Ganson totally ignored it. When we had Ganson a couple of weeks ago he penalised Sculthorpe for doing that. I said at the time that was typical of Ganson, just doing his own thing, the man has no consistancy in his decisions. Personally I would rather have anybody but Ganson, the game is about the players not him.

Your quite right there. He sent Luke Robinson off for a lot less against Wakey at Belle Vue.

Agree thought he should of binned another they already had Webb in the bin, then gave away an array of penalties, but he bottled taking them down to 11 men.

I too wanted Wakey to beat them even though it would have brought them within 2 of us, the number of times that Whinos steal the ball in a 2 man tackle and the ref's don't see it amazes me.

I believe they DO see it fella --and I bet some of Burrows marginal

forward passes as well !!--but tend to turn a blind one!!

I think the pivotal decisions were about 8 mins before end when he decided to ping Wakey for offside at play the ball --when lots of times Leeds at infringed similarly - and Wakey ignoring Kear re 2 pointers which I am sure would be "mentioned" to the capt!!!

Nowt changes with a lot of the pink shirt brigade and the game suffers !!

Thought we were unlucky tonight. I believe not taking the two was the right call. It's easy for you guys to look in hindsight, we kept the pressure on their line for 4 mins and they were down to 12 men, with a bit of luck we may have scored. Also, if Leeds needed the two points to win the game they probably would have kicked the conversion to the end try. So at the end of the day we took it to them and came up a bit short. Great game to watch and a good advert for the game. This is what Superleague is all about!

Hmmm yes it makes real sense to say there was less people in attendance at a game! (r.e licensing)

dont think wed lie about crowds, is anyones crowds up this year, ours are down about 25% on last year but it doesnt help when we had leeds, wire and sts all on tv on a friday.

There looked to be plenty more than 6,400 in the ground. I've only been down to Wakey a few times this season but according to my mates it isn't the first time that the crowd figure given has appeared - to them at least - on the low side.

Anyway it's only an observation. Maybe we're all just poor at estimating.

Mind, are these the same kind of fans that claim they outnumbered us at our place?
