Heard Brough is pretty much a done deal to go to Huddersfield, then N Brown is looking to play Luke Robbo at 9 next year after Moore goes back to Saints!

Total waste, Brough would be better at 9.

Our out of hand kicking game is poor. Probably our most significant weakness. Brough - among others - is outstanding in this respect.

That kick that went sideways and behind him and managed to catch all the Wakie players offside. Outstanding.

I enjoyed that.

That notwithstanding, Brough has one of the best kicking games in SL.

He has a kick on him, for sure. Probably the chip on the shoulder that gives him a different balance to other players!

Behind a good pack and in a good team he would be an excellent player.

Questions about his attitude is something else that those who are more qualified can comment on.


I do know that from a marketing point of view i would not use him on a calendar

Mick Potter is quoted in todays Leagye weekly as saying Scott Moore is 100% certain to be going back to Saints. It also says Liam Fulton is likely to be going back to Australia.
Nathan Brown says they will be looking for a new hooker but also says he could play Luke Robinson there if he could find a halfback.

Think he has a year left after this one on his Saints deal.

Not sure at all about Grix. Do we see him as a utility back or an out and out winger. As a winger he does not seem the quickest and also has suspect defence and is prone to a few mistakes.
If he is coming then i trust the coaching set up know what they are doing but he would not have been a player i would have wanted.

I don't see where Grix would go apart from the reserves.

Wasn't the same said about Moore / Kirkmond / Lunt ? I'd say we give the guy a chance as he has a wicked headband.

If true I am surprised wakey are 'letting him go'. An excellent utility player at half back , 1 and 13. (even wing!).

Why wakey have been ar**ing around with this player is beyond me.

He would be a better fb than blaymire / an excellebt 6 with brough or a very good ball handling & kicking 13.....so he gets stuck on the wing!
