how about a free bus or buses to the shay from galpharm, plus free parking at galpharm

why not take the games to huddersfield ymca?

Altho im not a giants fan but we have the same problem on being booted out of our home ground, this is another kick in the teeth for SL, teams playing out of thier own town/county

to be fair Halifax is only a small town in huddersfield so its not too much of a hassle

going cap in hand to a lower league side that has won major silverware far far more recently than you have

So you dont reckon we are actually gonna pay some sort of rent to Fax to use their ground then or do you think their gonna let us have it as a goodwill gesture as we went 'begging' to use it ?????

Halifax don't own the ground - Calderdale Council do. You'll be paying them, not Fax. I for one welcome the move. Putting aside the predictable childish comments I think it's a good thing and yes - it'll be nice to see a SL match at the Shay. I'll probably pick a couple of games to watch, depending on the opposition.

Yes - i've pointed it out on another thread. It's the North Stand - needs a five figure sum spending on it so i'm not sure Calderdale Council are in a position to offer the stadium out to a Super League club.

What are these? Genuine question. We last won our major trophies back in 1986 & 1987 - Championship & CC. i can't recall Huddersfield's major trophy success after those dates?
