Few blackmarks to Warrington today;

King sliding in after the try was scored. Could easily have been an eight point try.

Clarke with a high tackle whilst taking out Brett after he kicked through and went on the chase.

Warrington player - can't remember who - treading on Brett following a tackle.

High tackle on Robbo - can't say how bad but reaction from LB Stand gave a reasonable indication that more action should have been taken by Smith.

When is Cummings going to take action against underperforming referees and touch judges.

Let's hope the disciplinary take some action - won't hold my breath.

I counted it at 14-4 to wires. Never mind the pens. How about Carney's knock on, not given when he pulled it back to himself but three against us that looked to go backwards ? Oh well, he missed Bruno's blatent knock on when we were under pressure near our own line so I'm not complaining.

The high shot on Robbo was just a lazy arm nothing malicious and not with much power behind it. Looked worse than it was IMO.

I have to disagree I thought it was a desperate late challenge which had he missed would have led to a Robo try, how he was not cautioned was appalling from the ref who certainly could not be called a homer, despte the blatent knock on from Bruno.

I thought Smith gave us very little TBH. He pulled us for not standing square when Wire were on our tryline and there wasn't room for a fag paper between the ptb and the line, never mind two players!

Without meaning to defend anybody, I think you only notice offences by the opposition and often miss such things by your own team (when I say ‘you’ I’m talking more generally!) This is similar to only noticing (and remembering) errors made by your own team and attributing tries conceded to certain player errors etc – how often do your hear “they only score from our mistakes!”? I am by no means accusing Huddersfield of any foul play because I don’t think this was the case or ever is, it’s just an observation. I’m not one of these people who bash Huddersfield for over stepping the mark, I think the play is just hard and fair.

As for the penalty count, I think it may be slightly in Warrington's favour but not by much. Huddersfield conceded quite a few in the first 15-20 minutes but after that it evened out and the Giants probably got more than their fair share.

A good game today for you guys but let’s not get too picky, it works both ways. Hopefully we can meet again at Wembley!

To be fair though, he's done nothing like that since arriving at Warrington. His discipline has been very good. He was missed today along with the others.

Forget historical nonsense, it was a high last man tackle which drew the penalty yet Smith failed to discipline Mathers with.

Wire held on, went high and still lost.

In Mathers' defence he was stepped so I think it was more instinct that a deliberate head shot. Penalty sufficient in my opinion.
