Does anyone on here know the dates/venues that the Giants youngsters play in Australia ?
I'm hoping to go to their games if they are in Sydney.

Huddersfield Giants Talentbuilder can exclusively reveal the fixtures to e played by the Giants scholarship team visiting Australia in July. This will be the first team in the history of the club to play in Australia and they have top class opposition in three spectacular venues

The Giants will be hosted in the Forster / Tuncurry area to the north of Sydney. The opposition will be a high quality district team. They will play their game in incredible surroundings. Take a look at the picture and spot the golf course. If you look above the golf course you can see a large patch of green. That is the rugby pitch where the game will be played!


The second game will be at one of the great rugby league grounds steeped in history. Balmain are part of the Wests Tigers NRL setup. The Giants have established an excellent working relationship with Wests. However this link goes back a long way. One of the greatest players ever to grace the Leichhardt Oval was Pat Devery. Pat went on to become a Huddersfield all time great.

The final game will be against an equally prestigious club at another major venue. The Manly club have appeared in recent Grand Finals and Brookvale Oval is yet another famous stadium.

The scholarship players will have many training, coaching and tourist experiences while in Australia. However these fixtures show that they will also be stretched and challenged as players. It is an outstanding opportunity.
