Bit of an unfair rule really, in the vast majority of these incidents the defending player is moving at speed to tackle the player that is holding the ball, only to be unable to stop in time when the player chips a kick through. I doubt there are many players who can stop that quickly once committed.
I can only speak for us, but Dobson often gets taken out late and I cannot remember any sin binning as a result, maybe he should lay down and play for it instead of getting up straight away to carry on.
