Huddersfield v Catalans (+icon_cool.gif
The Giants are my specials of the week in Super League. They have been so consistent all season and they were outstanding in beating Hull KR last week.
The Dragons could be coming to the boil but they are struggling for consistency and I really like the way the Giants are playing. If they perform to the same standard as last week they will win and cover. I expect that to happen

[iHuddersfield (3rd) v Catalans (10th)
Despite the league positions there’s more than a pleasing aroma for this one. Catalans are still battling week-to-week to stay in the hunt. Last week was pretty comprehensive with a scintillating Bosc try putting the gloss on a win over a weakened opponent. They are up against it this week.
Huddersfield have conceded less points than any other team.
Ask any of the history boys and that’s a certain indicator of the decline of the game. Huddersfield obviously are only in that position because Saints and Leeds have dropped off the pace this year. No credit to Huddersfield. A completely disgraceful attitude and surely not one the average rugby league supporter could condone.
Let’s revel in Huddersfield’s rise. I expect it to continue, possibly putting some pressure on one of the top two. Huddersfield by 10.[/i
Hes right in many respects, people think it's due to Saints and Rhino's falling off the pace than giving us credit. We have so far displayed a solid defence and can win games whether by a close margin or by a good one.
One of these weeks we are really going to tonk someone, and maybe people will finally sit up and notice there's a new boy in town.

| Its interesting to look at the points difference in the league tables too, I think that tells a subtle story as well - clearly showing Saints and Leeds ahead, then us, then some way behind is everyone else.
We arent at Saints and Leeds level yet (we dont get the refereeing decisions for that) but we are, in terms of attack and defence, streets ahead of the chasing pack.

Giants are the bookies favourites
Four wins in a row and sitting third in the table, the Giants are finding themselves in a good run of form and only four points behind the leaders going in to this weekend's matches. Nathan Brown's men will be looking to close the gap on the top two as Catalans come to the Galpharm, seeking revenge for the 30-8 defeat they received at the hands of the claret and gold in Round 1.
Huddersfield, on home soil, are favourites to win at 3/10, with a Catalans victory priced up at 5/2. However, the Dragons will be no pushover having won three of their last four and they're knocking on the door of the playoff places. A fired up Dragons team will take to the field Sunday, buoyed by the fact that they have enjoyed some success on previous trips to the Galpharm, winning on their last two visits!
