James Bell has only just managed to nail down a position at Saints. They have an army of forwards. Norman is still worth a shout IMO.

The key is British or French players. I have no idea if Stone chose to leave or was pushed out the door. If Leigh had a large number of Props, I think Stone would have been retained instead of Big Ben.

Stone was going to Melbourne, it fell through and we had no quota spot - until Fergie went - leaving Sam trying to find a club. Imo Ben and Ava have to earn a quota spot this season, as Derek must use them wisely to push on. Wilde and Gannon will be better for the season come 2024 also and Halton will be like a new addition. |

Rugby League Live reckon we've tied up deals for next season with Saints Dan Norman, and young 23 year old Swinton Lions and former Leigh Miners Rangers forward Louis Brogan.
Both good signings IMO. Norman should be around first team contention and may become a regular sooner rather than later. Brogan is obviously a development prospect but we need these guys and it's great to see us increasing our squad depth.

Excellent signings. So pleased we got Dan Norman. He will come on leaps and bounds under Adrian Lam. He was excellent while on loan to us last season. I thought he would have been a natural successor to Alex Walmsley. Saints' loss.
