Looking at the players not selected, think the following would've been regular starters if available; Hall, Dawson, Evans, Vaivai, Acton, Mason, Higham. And Patrick would probably play if it was purely on-field. Yet people will probably still talk about cost of squad if we lose.

Still not enough backs in the 19 to leave Bergal out along with Cunningham. Unless you're expecting Reynolds, Mortimer and Hood to each do 80 mins at 1, 7 and 9.

Very, very disappointing to have to play with that squad. I reckon 9 of the 19 would be in the squad if everyone was fit. Hope the starting 13 can stay fit and we witness a miracle!

True,my mistake. It could also be possible to play and interchange Cunningham with Hood, play Mortimer @ SO and play Reynolds @ FB. Be interesting to see the final 17 positions.

That’s what I would do. And weak squad could also translate into players taking the chance to stamp a place in the team.

If Leigh were to play Toronto in the MPG, at Toronto, would this still stand? Would be hard to see how any agreement could be enforced in such a situation.

It does seem a rather bizarre agreement (if true).

Hall requested it for “personal” reasons. He wouldn’t have signed for any club in the Championship without the club agreeing to it.

Best 2 players missing-Hall and Acton despite the latter serving concussion ban last week. Are we really accepting we can lose one more match? Surely we arent relying on Toronto beating Fev. in the last match of the season with nothing for them to play for. Very worrying.

Forgot to ask, does any one know if there are any visa issues.

I believe Acton has had a shoulder operation. He has been playing in pain since early doors in the game at Featherstone.

Nothing new there...why don't they announce why Larne Patrick will never play for us again.....Bob Beswick/Liam Kay/Adam Higson/ etc (Revisited)

Whilst they appear very good at announcing some things, they seem to have a policy of keeping quiet about 'negative' news. (just my take on it)

Ironic that it is too cold to play there in February!

And before the 'progressives' from the VT latch on to my moan, I would point out that my flat cap would offer little in the way of protection, against extreme cold, or heat!
