NUMBERS GAME FOR CENTURIONS
Leigh Centurions Head Coach Neil Jukes has named his 19 man squad ahead of Sunday's Kingstone Press Championship Round One game at Batley Bulldogs (3pm).
Four players are in line to make their debut for the Club: Dayne Weston, Harrison Hansen, Reni Maitua and Rangi Chase.
The next Leigh Centurions player to make his debut will be #1400 in the Heritage Numbers list.
If more than one player makes their debut in the same game Heritage Numbers are allocated in team sheet order.
The squad is as follows:

Tough first choice for Jukesy. Forwards game this one. If Ryan is not 100% match fit, I'd give him another week to get up to speed along with Maitua who's not had any game time for us yet. No point taking any risks at this stage of the season, ease them in. It's the business end of the season we need to peak not the start of the season.

Just realised no patterson. Assume he's injured. I agree if ryan not fit, then the pitch at batley will find him or anybody with a knock out

Important to start well but on a wet damp windy Batley ground I agree its not worth risks.
Likely to be a forward dominated slog.
