Dirty Dicks is open, unfortunately no longer is The pump rooms. Another good pub is Shears Inn down past the high rise flat down a cobbled road. Looking forward to a good atmosphere!

Some great pubs in Fax. Bow legged with Brass which is next to Spoons and one to the left of the railway station just down the hill.

The Ring O'Bells, next to the Parish Church. Another Real Ale pub.

We had a cracking pub crawl before the game last year. It helped that we were there for 10am, mind. Shame the Pump Room is no more but there are plenty of others nearer the town centre.

I think we need to let the circus of Sunday rest now as Halifax did what not many teams do and went to Cumbria and took Whitehaven apart , they well know what to expect from Leigh and I suspect be very up for the challenge.
This will be a tough game so hopefully all fit (Presume Higson has broke his hand - is it confirmed as I'm sure it was reported as broke pre season?) for this match.

Indeed, Halifax are a top team, them, London, Fev & Dewsbury could finish in any order really. Bradford might have been favourites to win the league but our hard start to the season is just getting going, going to be a close game on Sunday but hopefully another win for Leigh.

Think they will be well up for this game and desperate to maintain a good start, equally I feel we will but that extra fitness will tell at the end of the game.
Should be a very healthy following from both clubs so I reckon it will be another brilliant atmosphere.

Fax are saying wqe are in the North stand this time, wasn't it the south stand we used to go in before along with the fax fans?
It was good banter in there so im confused, are we being segregated this time round?
