God that was dire got to improve massively if we want to win GF

Perhaps the occasion overshadowed what was on the pitch - shame that, especially if there were some new fans in attendance...

That was a truly awful performance. But i guess we cant be at our best every week, and we did win. We missed barlow, today shows how important he is to us. Plus points a great crowd, plus seeing all our ex players.

I must admit it was lacklustre at times but I really don't think the ref helped with the way he managed the play the ball. Worky were allowed to slow it right down.
One positive from the game was that we seemed to be trying out a couple of new moves. fair enough they didn't come off most of the time but today was a chance for the lads to try them out against real opposition as opposed to on the training ground. If we have a couple of new tricks up our sleeve for the play offs we'll be reet

How many times did we drop the ball ?I lost count , a few weeks ago I said after a few lack lustre games someone would cop it ,and we tonked Rochdale Fev , and Swinton , it will happen again , Worky are not a bad side , they have shown that in the past , the game was far from a Classic , but still 3 points earned , bring on the Boyos , then the play-offs .

Well I don't normally criticise refs but todays was terrible and regarding holding down in the tackle my god he was shocking.

Leigh's passing and handling was dire too and it was not an entertaining game was it ?

Frank , a wins a win , we got the 3 points , nowt else matters , the ball was very greasy , as it was for Worky , but we play better in dry conditions , I thought Brierley has a decent game , along with Tom Armstrong , not a bad crowd either .See you tomorrow .

Well I do not condone the bad language but that bonus point keeps them in the Championship next season.

I thought their fans supported their team with enthusiasm and they were well behaved (despite the swearing). They do dress funny though.

You really have no idea do you. If that points keep us up then of course every single fan would cheer it. Look at your budget compared to ours and to not beat us by more than 12 on both occasions must be hard for you to take. Before vievers took over we couldn't field 17 men, were heading for the trap door and our players were massively lacking in confidence. Now were going to make the playoffs, have all of our current squad signed on for next year and the best coach in the division committed to us next year. There's plenty for us to cheer about. 90% of your fans have been very gracious in victory, you my friend are very clueless.

Thought the Worky fans were great, personally. Without the Wigan duals they might be summat different, but even so I think a lot of Leythers showed them a lot of disrespect and they were well worth their bonus point today. Plus I can't say I've been overly keen on Haven over the years anyway. This whole Jam Eaters thing is a bit weird, mind.

You still can't field 17..... unless you have 4/5 on dual reg from Wigan. Interesting how your results started to change after that arrangement came about. Beating you by 1 or 12 or 112 still only gets us 3 points. Much prefer haven to stay up by the way

Thought we had an off day at times and Worky played as good as they could. We won they lost, nuff said. If it had been a final I would be taking up Derek's old bed. Next week is first away game for ages and I'm not driving so I'm going on it.
