Know he is a left centre and Armstrong has played pro rugby mainly on the right.

They would be a decent centre pairing, enabling Armstrong to move over to the right, where he is more used to playing.

Can only assume he is injured?

Not featured in first team or reserves since the friendlies?

They lost him in borsdane woods a few weeks back and he's not shown up since lol

I asked the same question to one of the BOM last night.

He told me Matt needs an operation which will happen quite soon.

A update with Govin his wrist popped out against Warrington but Specialist thinks he's torn his cartilage. He might get away with a steroid injection till end of year if not he'll need an operation & will be out for about 6 weeks

Pity about both Govin and Gardner. Hope they are back in contention soon.

Best to just have the required operation(s) rather than risk further injury playing with injections I'd have thought.

Injections do more harm in the long run. I know Tommy Smith had other problems but he was a cripple in later life due to all the injections he had in his knees.

Question about LCTV. Are the games downloadable? Only I work away during the week and use a mobile broadband gadget, and viewing the games etc will use up a lot of my allowance. If I could download at home for later viewing that would be better.....

How many MB on average are the files for a game?

The Watcher has never been to impressed with Gardner & believes it is no great loss to the 1st 13. He will however conceede that he would be handy to have as a reserve in case of injuries.

Quick answer I dont know but would doubt it in the format through the official site, but I would think some person more comp literate than I will find out a way but copyright laws may well come into play, it would depend on whether the BOD sanctions downloads.

The files are MP4 and are usually around the 4MB mark per game and are uploaded in 720p.

Matt Gardner was outstanding for Leigh last season at times it was like having a extra forward with his strength when running the ball back scored some great try's and his interception when Sheffield look certain to score in the final last season was outstanding Matt will defo be missed by the squad top fella and great player

Agreed. He played through the 'pain barrier' on many occasions and will be missed, especially if we suffer any injuries in the centres.

Just read on Gardners facebook that his rugby days could potentially be over, gutted if true as he's a player I rate highly and when on his game he can do a good job

Talking of players playing whilst in pain has anyone else picked up on PR comments on LCTV about players having their operations or treatment much to late and said something like this should not have happened and will not happen again ?.

There are distractions for players eg World Cup, annual holidays etc that may have an impact on when players want the ops, I suppose he will be telling them next time

Sorry yes the writer did mean GB and on looking on the desktop where the files are dealt with that I see they are more like 5Gb+.

OK, thanks for the info. I get 10GB a month on mobile so I will have to watch them at home!
