Can somebody tell me why the Training Ground Scuffle thread has been locked after I was falsely accused of setting up a fake Jamie Acton account. What is going on on this site, this was a thread about an incident that DID happen last night? Why was it deleted.

Also I dont want to linked with the Acton account, and would ask Demon to think before he types next time.

For crying out loud Jimmy, it was a joke. Haven't got the hang of smilies from my phone. But if it pleases you I will ban myself from the board. I apologise if you think I meant it. Trying to give info about a false account thats all as not everyone would have seen that.

What rules were broken in the original thread, just so I know for next time? Seems the Mods are just getting a bit power trippy over a thread that is perceived as being negative?

I think it was possibly locked because whatever happened was a result of someone setting up a fake twitter account to slag Leigh players off and the resultant incident, and I don't know if there was one, was merely a misunderstanding due to this. Plenty negative threads have been left on in the past so I would be surprised if that was the reason

Most of us on here are Leyther daft thats why we post what we do.

Sometimes someone will post something we do not agree with or post something contraversial so what !

Everyone has their own view and has their right to make up their own mind on a particular issue and post their response.

That hypocrite Nigel Farage who is a member of the European parliament for example is allowed to spout his racist nonscence on TV news and get his duty free cigs from his inflated publicly paid for salary and be a member of a Parliament he pretends to despise.

Jimmy85 has no such excuse and should be banned forever not just from this board but from every pub in Leigh AND the LSV. That'll teach him.

The RFL have spoke to all club about social media and players from alll clubs have been warned about what they post on there. Already in other sports too fines etc have been given for what people have posted on social media sites.
Won't like this thread to draw attention to this and our club get fined!!!

Just to clarify Jimmy was your source about this alleged scuffle from reading Jamie Acton's fake twitter account ? Jamie had wrote on 'Leigh Centurions banter page' on facebook explaining that someone had set up a fake twitter account under his name slagging team mates off & for anyone following it to disregard it as it isn't Jamie. I haven't read the twitter account myself as it's already been removed but my referrence to Jamie being 'The most feared man in championship' was due to his intimidating size & power, his cage fighting background & just a all round BEAST

No mate, I saw the account on Twitter one night but only learned of the scuffle the following afternoon, there was no malice or anything in the so called fake Twitter account which has now been removed.

But it's already been said that it was a "fake" account so why lock it?

Ok mate when Jamie posted on the FB group about the fake account I was straight on twitter to have a nosey but I couldn't find the account via google so I presume it had been removed. What did or didn't happen it's water under the bridge now onwards & upwards united.

For clarification Jamie very wisely does not use twitter, has never used twitter and does not have a twitter account.

An account was set up in his name using publicly available pictures including some from the Leigh Centurions website. The account was active for a little over 24 hours before it was requested to be removed by Jamie as an "imposter" account. During the time that it was active offensive and abusive messages were posted about team mates, Leigh and other clubs. These were an embarassment to those team mates, the club and in particular to Jamie.

Any twitter activity in the future purporting to be Jamie will not be from him.

As for training ground scuffles I know of nothing involving Jamie or any of his team mates but frankly traing ground spats are not exactly rare and are typically a sign of robust enthusiasm for the game!
