That the offical annoucement though with the prices on, 18 quid for both games, however how much is it if you only want to watch our game? Or is that not an option?

18 quid for our game v East Leeds..........don't want to see the other game. They've got no feet left to shoot themselves in.

Great value.I know some will just want to watch the leigh game,im going to cheer the frogs to a win.hope we draw them in the next round(away).

18 quid is a lot to ask for a potential massacre against an amateur team on a busy day of sport on the box , if memory serves it was only 7 quid for Leigh East v Hunslet t'other year .

You can always nip in bar, under concourse and watch national though.

It is only 'great value' if you wish to watch both games.If you only want to watch one, as the majority will, it is poor value and it is another own goal by the people allegedly in charge of the club.

As i said Reffy , Good value , as i will be watching BOTH games and hopefully a few quid on Colbert Station each way in the National .

Anyone considered the east Leeds fans in this.

£18 and £10 concessions. Is that standing also? I would only be interested in watching the Leigh match but in all honesty it's a tad expensive for me.

I hope however people think it's attractive enough with it being a double header and the club's involved make money out of it. I hope they would also offer deals in terms of secondary spend at the kiosks as it's a long time to spend inside the stadium.

I'm not sure many of our fans would want to watch both and then £18 is expensive against an amateur club.

I will though applaud the club for attempting something new and that it proves to be financial success.

As a Leigh fan I have NO interest in watching Swinton, so basically it's £18 to watch Centurions v some Amateurs !!!

If you click on the Leigh website,itshows one price of £18. So it seems paying say £10 just to watch Leigh is NOT an option.I cant see many people paying £18 when as already posted,who is interested in watching Swinton? IMO not many. I for one [plus 4 mates shall be giving it a miss.

So let me get this right. The price is prohibitive to the fans of both swinton & leigh. There will be no away fans from France & the fans of east Leeds will also be put off by the price. So potentially a sub 1000 gate gets split 4 ways. The club will lose it shirt on this one.

Before the partnership stuff broke I was fairly interested in how this would pan out and wondered what the club would do.
I felt it was a raw deal in a way for Leigh as I felt there was a need for a few more rounds adding in the Challenge Cup to try and get fans interested as the teams may be more evenly ballanced(Leigh v East Leeds was a tough sell when our league gates was showing a marked drop - pre Partnership !).
Now I wouldn't have gone for a double header as it probably means a bigger loss but it could be part of the new strategy of engaging with the local clubs and forgetting rivalry - 'you support us, we support you' line that Trevor seems keen on, again (understatement coming up !) I'm not a fan of that but maybe its something the club feel has some mileage in it.
Personally I think its either ambitious or misguided (with respect).

That said maybe the clubs have got a deal with the LSV so maybe its just 1 hire instead of 2, I've no idea.
One thing was for sure is that the East Leeds game pre Wigan announcement seemed on target to be giving us our lowest ever gate for a long long time, maybe the club have decided to just cut the losses on this and trial a merged match with both tennants.

I doubt it Demon , the other year all 3 Leigh teams were drawn at home and all played at the LSV on the same weekend Miners on Friday night , Easts Saturday afternoon and the Centurions on Sunday afternoon and possibly about 3k through the gates .

What was the price of last seasons equivalent CC tie?

Was gonna head across cos I enjoyed our visit to the LSV last year and know quite a few of the East Leeds lads. I doubt I'll (and I know a few others who wont) be bothering now with the prices.

It would be too hard to control a '1 game' price, deciding which Swinton fans had paid the 1 game and which had paid the 2 game price.

I don't mind the idea of a double header, but to price your fans out of it is ridiculous. £10 across the board, watch 1 or both games.

Just spoke to the ticket office and they confirmed no other option but to pay for the double header!!!!! I have no interest in swinton nor Toulouse. Now what do I do??? I have already missed a few games due to work but now being asked to pay over the normal price to watch my team against amateur opposition( no disrespect to the east Leeds lads as I think they deserve to be supported but are there fans gonna pay it? NO. Ruining there big day in the cup. Totally bemused as how far clubs go to p£@s honest fans that work hard and want to support the club. Another major f up. Not quite done with the club yet but I am being pushed closer
