Why ? We'll be playing Tom Spencer if he is fit won't we. Last season I remember us having Laithwaite and Spencer in the same side.

Having said that I am not a fan of "twinning" and feel there should be a limit of no more than 4 players from another club at any one time.

I am still confident of a Leigh win on Sunday.

I really worry about our season now if this is going to happen across the league.

Because Spencer has only just turned 22 and is still very much in the 'prospect' category. He's also on loan for a guaranteed period of time and cannot play for his parent club during that time. He isn't an 80 minute ringer with hundreds of SL games under his belt.

Frank if you think the actual rules of the original dc contract are any fairer than these codged up ones they are using now you must be doo-lalli.
The original rules were to give young prospects a chance to play at a higher level than u23's now one can hardly call Luellia and Moore either young or prospects, there are now feeder and 'used' clubs Im glad we have not gone down that road these teams have no ambition and now seem to be content to feed on the crumbs of the SL and be used by them to get and keep thier 1st team squads fit.

by doing this they will cut back numbers in their own squads and when their "SL" club has injurys, will be left short on players, personally I hope that the two clubs that get relegated are two of these clubs who are doing this arrangement

Could we now find the clubs with ambition relegated at the end of the season ie us or Keighley. Was not impressed at all on Sunday. Not a move in us.

I don't think it is at all fair, we never had 1st team players of the calibre Hunslet have in their squad v leigh on Sunday , surely it will put these teams in a false league position.Just hope it comes back to bite um on the bum !

Why do people think these clubs will suffer if the mother club gets injuries,the whole squads have been dual reg'd

Fred we have lost one game , no worries from me ,Penky took a hard knock on Sunday then had a quiet game , he and the other lads will come good this season .
I think Riddy will revel in the freedom he will have now teams are worrying about Penky , and Brierley , Riddy walked through the Fev defence untouched because the Fev players were concentrating on Ryan .

Riddy walked through the Fev defence 10 Mtrs from the line because several players marking the Zone where Riddy was attacking where 11 Mtrs from the line lol

Ian i think Riddy will have a good season this year , along with a few other , but my one to watch is Sam Hopkins , i hope he can keep fit and injury free .

Riddy Brie & McNally plus Nico are all class attacking players who will have a big season who the hell needs dual contacts lol

Hopefully we see a return from Govin in June then we'd have attacking players all over the park

Not really Wheels , it wont overly bother me as I wont be there to see it , however I do ' feel ' for the players , fans and club officials that have been betrayed by the abomination that signs his name as Nigel Wood , he is a disgrace to the sport , he was a disgrace at halifax and how he has been left in charge of the sports governing body is beyond comprehension

This is a little different, they are established SL players, there should be an age limit for this, say 23.

I could just about cope with the notion of aiding the development of 3 or 4 Super League younger players but this league is rapidly turning into a feeder club / Super League reserve competition.

I have no interest in watching anything that comes remotely close to that so on that basis I will not be wasting my time travelling and paying up to £18 admission when we play Hunslet away ( or Swinton for that matter)

Can't go to Swinton anyway personally but Hunslet looking likely to be off my list as well. Already choosing not to go to Keighley because it clashes with Hibs playing at Kilmarnock in the Scottish Cup Quarter Final.

It will be interesting to see how many ringers are fielded when two twinned teams play each other. I mean two treams from this league by the way. I feel a conspiricy theory coming on. What if the SL clubs have been told to allow some ringers to play in their twinned clubs side when they play a none twinned club. A way of trying to force us to twin with an SL club so we can compete in our own league.

The teams contracted players will soon get fed up when they don't get selected due to these DC players, and constantly miss out on winning pay etc.
Doing a full days work, then going training 4-times a week and not playing will just make players pack the game in.

I personally think this twinning idea will cause serious harm to Championship attendances. I said so on here when it was first muted. I think it will bring about the demise of many clubs. I think it is plain wrong and plain stupid.

I personally don't think a couple of players being loaned to another club would make much difference but I do think the RFL allowing a NON RELEGATION CLUB teams entire squad to be available to one other club is crass stupidity and incredibly short sighted' by the guys at the top of the RFL.

It is similar crazy way to run the pro game' to the way Banks were run about 3 years ago and like for the Banks it will end in disaster.

How can it be stopped ? No idea but one things for sure the government won't bail out RL in this country as they had to do with the banking sector.

Just another thought. I am a diehard and was really looking forward to this coming season. I will still go but suspect too many might decide to call it a day because of this ridiculous innovation. Should our crowds fall below an average of about 1750 we too will end up as a twinned club.

This needs stopping and sooner rather than later imo.
