I never had a bad view whenever I watched a match at the Willows and I also know that the ground capacity was adequate 'the pitch level and of good size.

Don't really understand why they moved because if you use public transport it takes me for instance' longer to get to their new ground than it does to any other ground in Lancashire.

Then if you get there for a match you have to queue far too long for a ticket to get into the stadium.

A very bad move imo.

Agree about that but despite the fact I don't have a car I hardly think that's the fault of Salford RLFC.

Maybe Salford Constabulary could have policed matched days better or perhaps the people living aound the ground might have taken a bit more responsibility for the area in which they live.

I parked near The Weaste pub on dozens of occasions and never had an issue. Let's not forget that coaches used to frequently get bricked at Hilton Park as well.

Like at the Willows the only time I had a problem there (and absolutely nothing to do with the club) was when we parked up a Ladywell and got the tram. Thankfully it turned out to be nothing more than loads of verbals from the local deadheads

at least they owned their dump. These 'dumps' are better than a concrete 'morgue' with far too many stewards !!!

Aw it reminds of the days when Hilton Park was being demolished. I was there every day with my trusty camera and have probably a 1000 photographs documenting it. (That's when I could shift bloody Shandy from out of my viewfinder).
