does anybody know the owners of this flag? (who brought it to NRC final last yr?) was thinking as he is a legend now at leigh (for everything hes done when playing for us) his flag deserves to be with the alex murphy and tommy sale flags on the East stand?

Definately not - a couple of seasons at Leigh kicking goals does not qualify someone as a "legend"

Legends are Woody and Dessie, who mixed it with the best and represented GB whilst at the club.

Legends are players who gave 10 years or more at the club. Mick Hogan, Phil Johnson etc

he was a good goalkicker , and points scorer ,Murph ,Dessie ,and John Woods are our Legends ,Mick is not in this class .

I think even if Mick is not a legend the flag itself is a part of the club history and could be put somewhere or even presented to Mick for his efforts at the club.

Much as I like Mick, i don't think he's quite a legend yet.

How about Neil Turley? I always thought his efforts were very overlooked and he is very much a Leigh legend in my eyes.

Micks flag is gathering dust in the attic . When he jumped ship to Fax nearly used it for guy on bonfire night !! Really sad to hear about Mick's injury - hope he's back playing soon. Thinking of doing a John Duffy flag for Blackpool this year. What do you think?

Duffy flag is a cracking idea - As far as we know he is Leigh's most decorated player, so should easily be allowed into 'legend' category!!

That flag is now part of our history of that great day last year at Blackpool, everyone knows of it, it is part of our herritage, and should be saved. Maybe not hung up every week with the others but brought out for special occasions. That flag was part of that day. If it's going to be discarded I'll buy it.

At this rate we will have more flags than the UN
