1. Mick Nanyn didn't used to be e he still is!
2. With lower budget and a smaller side Mark Aston has out coached Career coach Millward yet again. Let's not mention the fact Karl Harrison has also did it with Batley last year.
3. As last season we peaked to soon and looked jaded coming into The run in and play offs.

Good season if we'd had a part time coach and a poor squad but having had the highest paid full time coach outside SL and a quality squad weve failed yet
again as per usual for Leigh.

Mick had the ball 6 times, 2 tries almost and 3 clean breaks if only the rest were as poop

He's a second division second rarer lad always will be.

also if he had passed the ball to his winger when he had the ball one of the times we would have had a try. chucked a stupid pass out aswell that went miles forward... his defence tonight though was better than in the past. Lets get it right here, Nanyn had a stinker but so did a lot of other players, I think only possibly Littler and Donlan had half decent games, the rest well absolutely pathetic, best team in our league my ar$e, and why we are on the subject of players playing badly since signing for Hull Ellis has been absolute pants.

Mick played decent enough tonight for me, he was one of few with any urgency. Very disappointed with certain players, you could tell they were looking past this season now. Ellis was pathetic, didnt want to be involved or run the ball at all.

At least we've ticked a box and now we have to re-group with a new squad and coach and see where that takes us.

Well i will start, what a great season we have had,if someone at the begining of the season had offered me what we had won and only lost 4 games in all comps, i would have said i'll take that.

Nature of the beast Bart.....the 'experts' always appear for the post-mortem, to tell you were it all went wrong!!

Funny how none of these 'experts' were on here telling us were it was all going wrong before Blackpool.....or indeed before the announcement of Basil's departure!!
