I dont know if our awful form of late had anything to do with Basil being announced as the Cas coach, but that was a stupid PR decision by allowing him to be paraded by Cas when being paid by Leigh - I have no issues with letting/encouraging him to find another job as it was felt we couldn't financially afford him.

I don't know if players not being talked to about next year had an unsettling effect, I don't even know if JiC comment about next years wages was correct.

We had a great season to the NRC then it died, I will try and focus my seasons memories on the positives and not the poor form of recent weeks.

We must now focus on the survival of our club, after all that is what really matters.

We need some feedback about if we have any directors, whats happening about investment, what do we fans need to do to ensure survival, are we to enter administration and if we do does that mean the NRC tick is chalked off and as a result we will never get into SL.

I am amazed we reached the end of the season, its now time to ensure we reach the end of many more.

C'mon LRLFC let us know whats going on and let us know what needs to be done to secure the future of our club.

Administration means 10 point deduction before next season starts and almost certain relegation by the end of that season. There won't be enough money to put a decent team on the park as it is. That could set the club back by years. Administration is not an option if we want the club to grow.

Too many memories of friends and relatives no longer with us at games will motivate many to do whatever it takes, the shortfall isn't great, we need openess and can do attitude to overcome it.

We had the wealthy backer, the highly paid Aussie coach, the best duel reg youngsters a blend of top former SL greats and young up and coming SL prop and halfback and still managed to it right up when it really mattered.

This was leighs year and a grand final and good run in could maybe have attracted a bit of investment but Millward obviously felt as a CAREER COACH it would be more important post the NR final to prioritise feathering his own nest and putting himself before the club that has now got him a job he hasn't really earned on merit twice.

Powell, Harrison and Aston all Yorkshire young quality coaches will be shaking there heads watching Ginger at Cas flatter to decieve and struggle to match Terry Matttersons achievements at Cas next term why we will be lucky to have a club at all bye bye Ian thanks for the memories kiwi kiddy coach equalled ur achievements in both spells at Leigh in his short reign just about sums it up.

What a daft post since Ian Millward arrived at Leigh the club has took massive steps forward
ticked a box for the next round of franc at the first attempt new structure's put in place
only lost a couple of games this season blimey face reality mate its been a great year just a great pity what happened to Arthur Thomas at a crucial part of the season but hey you cant blame Ian M for moving to a better job everyone in all walks of life would move to a better job with a better salary so dont blame the man hes been great for Leigh this season

Spot on Pal the grounds at both clubs knock spots of the LSV as far as a SL application goes, add that to the huge gates both clubs attract and they are a shoe in next time.
