widnes to play on plastic pitch next season,as the the world gone mad??????

Leigh East dont seem to have a problem

visiting teams like to use it as an excuse for losing though LOL

I beleive it is the same as ours, a Desso GrassMaster.

It's similar mate but Widnes will be 100% artificial rather than a blend of real grass and the artificial stuff.

Thats not something Widnes will need to worry about.

People don't seem to realise that this costs £500,000 and is different to one which will give you burns.

If it's a least as good as the ones at Leigh East then there won't be any problems.

Still prefer the mixed pitches though, all the positive aspects of a grass pitch with few of the negatives, and none of the negatives of an artificial pitch, but much more durable than a purely grass pitch.

Plastic pitch, plastic competition, plastic scousers it all fits

I have to say that the surface at the Stobart looked good, last week, especially considering the use it has had this year.

It looked so good alan because its been having rubbish put on it every other week

Wouldn't that make it look crap?
